Midea Redefines Kitchen and Home Appliances Design Concept at 2016 IFA in Berlin

BERLIN, Sept. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading consumer appliances manufacturer Midea is showcasing the latest kitchen and home appliances at the 2016 IFA trade show from September 2 to 7 at the Messe Berlin international exhibition center in Berlin, highlighting user-centered approach that redefined the company's design concepts to make life easier for every family.

A star product at the 2016 IFA exhibition is the 16D vacuum cleaner, Midea's first ever cordless vacuum cleaner with hair detangle function at the charging dock. Engineered for easy house cleaning, 16D vacuum cleaner has a cyclonic system that delivers better cleaning results and runs on sustainable, energy-efficient power from interchangeable Lithium battery. The foldable handle with control also offers better maneuverability and easier access to corners that are hard to reach. Midea also displayed highly efficient floor cleaning robots and window cleaning robots.

Midea's new generation kitchen appliances all feature sleek designs that can fit into most kitchens. The touch control interfaces on kitchen hoods, hobs and ovens also significantly improve user experience.

Signature products include Midea's microwave oven with an antimicrobial coated cavity that provides a hygienic cooking environment. Midea's highly acclaimed microwave oven is now equipped with sensors that can adjust cooking time and power level based on the food's quantity and condition, while the inverter technology allows defrost and cooking to be done with less time and energy.
