SHANGHAI, China, Oct. 20 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Today the renowned Red Herring Magazine announced its 2008 finalist for the Asia Top 100 awards. Previous winners include Google, Baidu, Skype and eBay. Touchmedia is the only interactive mobile media finalist and this is the first time this type of company has been recognized, demonstrating an advertising client shift to media that can show clearly measureable results and a precise ROI on ad spend.

CEO of Touchmedia, Mr.Micky Fung, commented, "We are absolutely delighted to be a finalist and feel it is recognition for the whole team of our achievement. Our sales growth in the last year has been over 1000% and we are focused on cash sales, not barter or other revenue sources, unlike some new media." Micky continued, "Touchmedia has also launched our interactive touchscreens in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen in the last 2 months. With Shanghai we now have 15,000 screens reaching over 600,000 people a day. We have been sold out for the last 2 months and, with advertising spend a little tighter, we expect more clients to move to a medium that can precisely measure their return on every kuai spent."
